About JD Parties

Having been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years owning and running a mixture of hotels, restaurants and golf & country clubs, it was back in 1995 when the idea to run themed Christmas Parties was born and J D Parties Ltd was launched.

We have now been successfully hosting Christmas Party Extravaganzas at Tatton Park, Cheshire for the past 15 years and our reputation has gone from strength to strength – having entertained over ½ million guests.

Our second site at Millennium Point, Birmingham was launched in 2006 followed by our third site at Knowsley Safari Park in 2007.

We also launched J D Events in 2006, following numerous requests from customers asking us to organise other events outside of Christmas parties – so are happy to tackle any brief from weddings to private parties, charity events, exhibitions ….

Organising parties is a fun and exciting task. We are a small and dedicated team and wish to ensure that all our customers have an enjoyable experience from the minute we answer the phone to the minute they leave the venue.

Who we are:

Emma Kelsey – General Manager

Yes I’m still here! Emma joined JD Parties in 1996 and has worked on all aspects of the business even living on site in a caravan during December! A true veteran of Christmas parties!

Our Party Co-ordinators

Becky Taylor – Becky joined us in 2005 and concentrates on our Knowsley parties.

Alice Magee – Alice joined us in 2006 following a career in local newspapers. She heads up the Tatton Park parties.

Stars of the Show

We are also very proud of the entertainers who have worked with us over the years, many of whom have gone on to star in West End shows:

Sandra who was our first Roxy in Roaring 20s has gone on to The Lion King and Porgy & Bess – she is currently on tour with Hairspray as Motormouth Mabel.  Stevie who played Tallulah in Roaring 20s 2004 has gone to Footloose and Lord of the Rings Musicals and is currently staring in Wicked in London.

Our very own Leroy Brown from 2007 Roaring 20s at Knowsley Park joined us straight from Chicago the Musical in London.

Daniel who was one of our Out of Africa dancers at Knowsley in 2009 is currently dancing on the new Justin Lee Collins show – Good Times.  Many of the other cast are sailing the world on the major cruise liner – Seven Seas.
