For 2010, the theme at Tatton Park promises to be the most opulent and spectacular to date with our ‘Parisian’ Party. Be transported to the feathers, rhinestones and sequins of this by-gone era as you soak up the Parisian atmosphere. Enjoy dinner under the stars with our new and improved menu, then fabulous singers and dancers will enthrall and excite you with a glittering performance. Spectacular costumes and an unbelievable Can Can guarantee to leave you speechless! The DJ then brings Paris to life with chartbusting hits to suit all tastes. If you fancy a flutter, then try your luck in our charity fun casino. This year we will be supporting the North West Air Ambulance – there’s a good reason to try your hand on blackjack or roulette!

We are delighted to have secured the talents of Conan Belletty as choreographer and performer for our new show. He is an enticing mix of Singaporean and Australian and is a professional dancer, model, choreographer and aerialist and has performed all over the world – including at The Moulin Rouge, Paris. Infact many of our performers join us from the West End and some have gone on to perform around the world, in The Lion King, Porgy & Bess, Footloose, Chicago and Hairspray to name but a few.

Christmas Parties start on 26th November – with our special Event Premier which includes a glass of champagne, then run until 23rd December and prices start from £57.50 per head. Our New Year’s Eve Ball at £75 per person is a great way to see in 2011and includes champagne reception, five course dinner, live entertainment, highland piper and bacon butties at midnight.

Alongside our fantastic Christmas parties, we will also be hosting The Brit Pack on Sunday 12th December. The ultimate in sophisticated entertainment, these cool and edgy guys bring swing music right into the 21st Century. They each have exceptional vocal talent and their performance is packed with energy. Their repertoire is very wide ranging from Sinanta and Bobby Darin to Van Morrison and Michael Buble. They are NOT a tribute act.

This makes a fun alternative to a Christmas party, or just an excuse to get together with friends and family. Tickets are only £39.50, with a 3 course meal, so that’s exceptional value for money!

Don’t forget we also host Christmas Parties in our Grand Marquees at Knowsley Safari Park, Merseyside and Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham – both of these venues will see our Puttin on the Ritz theme – bringing you the glitz and glamour of 1930’s Hollywood.

We also have some new and exciting live bands performing at Knowsley. On Sunday 28th November we have Schwing, who are a sensational Swing Jazz & Jive, Classic Pop and Soul Show Band, led by the captivating pianist and vocalist Anthony Kinsey. With the contemporary style and sophistication of Harry Connick Jr, the charisma of Jamie Cullum and the vocal talents of Michael Buble, bandleader Anthony is the real deal.

Then on Sunday 5th December, join us for a 60s night live with The Overtures. Sir Elton John even quotes “… they’re just the best band of their kind in the world …”, after they performed at his civil partnership celebration with David Furnish. They present a faithful and dynamic tribute to pop’s greatest decade, with their magnificent repertoire of over 400 songs they have rapidly built their reputation as the finest tribute band in the country and you’ll hear every aspect of 60s music.

New marquee layout – no longer will there be an annex with additional seating in – all of our guests will be within the main dining area which gives everyone a better view of the stage.  If you are going to Tatton this year – you’ll see some even bigger changes with the location of the stage and dance floor …

New cocktail and champagne lounge – as it says on the tin, a new lounge area for you to chill out and enjoy a glass of fizz

New improved menu – we’ve listened to your comments and have replaced turkey as so many of you wanted to see something different.  We are continuing to develop our food presentation and service standards.

New style entertainment – we’re changing the format of the night – more so at Tatton for this year which will follow to Knowsley next year – we have live music and a fabulous cast of performers with a dazzling new show – look up to the sky ….

He has worked internationally with some of the leading names in fashion and entertainment, alongside Nicole Kidman for Chanel No 5, as well as working for the BBC, ITV, Nike, Adidas, & Diesel.  He also lived and worked in Paris for 2 years, performing as a soloist at the famous Moulin Rouge.

We are delighted he has joined our team for this year and look forward to working with him!

It might seem along way off, but we’ve already had the longest day and you’ll soon be putting the clocks back!  Ok so its not quite that time of year yet, but the team here at JD Parties are on countdown now to September when we see the majority of our bookings come through.  Many weekend dates are already full, so its worth getting in before the September rush – your colleagues will thank you for it and we dont want you to miss the boat!
