Our exceptional three-course dinners are carefully prepared by an award winning team of well -respected top chefs, with menus created in mind to get you in to the Christmas party spirit.

The ICC Birmingham, which plays host to this year’s high energy Glitter Ball has an outstanding catering team; Amadeus, which is made up of highly experienced, top industry names, led by Simon Hellier. The ICC is an industry leader in event catering led by Simon’s creativity and passion to push the boundaries.

An introduction to The ICC’s award winning catering team:

Simon Hellier
Simon has been the Executive Head Chef for Amadeus at The ICC Birmingham since it opened in 1991. He has cooked for world renowned figures such as David Cameron and Bill Clinton, and has catered for many prestigious events.

Gemma Field
Gemma studied Professional Cookery at Birmingham College of Food. She has since furthered her passion for event catering and has won both Gold and Silver at the prestigious Marche awards having learnt a vast array of skills from the ICC’s close knit team of expert chefs.

Clayton James
Top pastry chef Clayton James managed to impress Alistair McGowan with his bespoke Lemon Meringue Pie, which he hand delivered to the comedian when he was on tour, after Alistair McGowan referenced having had the dessert at the ICC on the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen when he was asked for his ‘food heaven’.

Joshua Anderson
Joshua was the proud winner of the Wing Yip Young Chef of the year awards in February this year. The prestigious Wing Yip awards were judged by high profile industry names including Michelin starred Glynn Purnell, at University College Birmingham.  Joshua was challenged to create a ‘paper-based’ entry followed by a highly competitive cook-off against some of the UK’s top young chefs.
