A Good Cause to Party!

JD Christmas Parties Charities

It’s that time of year when companies are starting to book their Christmas Parties, the Christmas brochures land on the MD’s desk and you suddenly find yourself ‘in charge’ of organising the whole event. So why not book your party and make a difference by booking one of our Christmas Parties at , Knowsley Safari Park or The ICC where we donate all proceeds from the Silent Auctions and Charity Fun Casino that takes place at each of our parties to the following charities, which we are proud to nominate for 2013:

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital – Tatton Park
The donation will help create seven new priority areas within the burns unit and provide therapeutic artwork to transform key treatment areas to create a more child friendly environment which will act as a powerful distraction from extremely painful and distressing interventions such as dressing changes and bathing.

Whiston Hospital Special Care Baby Unit – Knowsley Safari Park
Monies raised will go towards helping make further improvements to care for this special group of babies who deserve every chance of survival. Over 300 babies a year are cared for on the Special Care Baby Unit by the team of expert specialist nurses and doctors who work at Whiston Hospital.

Ronald McDonald House Birmingham from The ICC proceeds.
This donation will help with this much needed ‘home away from home’ that provides free accommodation to families who have children receiving treatment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The support will help us bring some much needed seasonal cheer to our families, many of whom stay with us for months at a time and often in difficult circumstances

Last year, JD Parties raised over £18,500 for the British Heart Foundation from proceeds from all venues in the North West and The Midlands and this year hopes to break the £20,000 mark.  Andrew Gentles, Managing Director of JD Parties said, “We are very proud to be supporting each charity and we hope our party-goers this year can help raise even more for these very worthwhile charities”.
