From the moment you arrive at a JD Christmas Party, our professional performers as seen on the West End stages and TV will wow you with spectacular entertainment. Meet the stars of the stage who will be keeping you entertained throughout your night:
Abbie trained in dance and musical theatre at The Urdang Academy in London and graduated in 2011 with a National Diploma in Professional Dance. Since graduating, Abbie has performed as a dancer in 3 UK tours of Essence of Ireland, and also performed with the show at The Mandela Theatre in Johannesburg, South Africa. This show also gave Abbie the opportunity to perform at the Arab Games in Doha, Qatar.
Last Christmas Abbie was dancing in The King’s Theatre pantomime Cinderella for New Pantomime Productions and this year is so excited to be joining the 2016 cast of Alpine Ball with Plan B Productions.
Amelia Hughes grew up in Manchester. She has danced from a very young age and at 18 gained a place at Phil Winston’s theatre works on a 3 year course studying dance and musical theatre. Amelia then starting working on P&O cruise ships as a dancer/singer and has been for the past few years. She would like to thank her family for their continuous support.
Brad studied dance and musical at London’s Urdang Academy. Since graduating he has been lucky enough to work around the world. His work has taken him to Australia where he was dancing on board one P&O Australia’s ships, Touring around the Middle East dancing, and has recently done some TV and film work for the BBC and Chanel 5. Brad is happy to be back working with Plan B Productions again for a second year in this year’s Christmas spectacular.
Cara received a National Diploma in Professional Dance from Cambridge Performing Arts. Since graduating, she became a dancer on board P&O Cruises for several years and took the role of Dance Captain.
Cara has also worked as a dancer for large sporting events such as West Ham Football Club, Harlequins Rugby Cub, World Darts Championship, and Hong Kong Rugby 7’s Tournament. Cara has most recently took the role of Resort Director for First Choice Holiday Village on behalf of TED Talent Entertainment. Cara is thrilled to be performing for JD Parties for her third year.
Chloe Corney was born and raised in Cambridge, England and has been singing and dancing on stages from a very young age.
At the age of 17 Chloe got a scholarship at Doreen Bird College Performing Arts School to complete a Diploma in Musical Theatre, after three years she graduated and accepted a job with Norwegian Cruise Line, where she then spent three years cruising the world as a production cast principal, along with lots of other projects on the side. Chloe is very excited to be spending Christmas this year performing in England with Plan B productions.
After completing her training at Phil Winston’s Theatre works she has been part of many shows and productions across the world on board cruise ships, in hotels, clubs and other various events. Jo is thrilled to be back for her 4th year with Plan B Productions and hopes you all have a wonderful time.
Kieran attended Phil Winstons Theatre Works at the age of 16, where he trained professionally in Musical Theatre. His career began prior to graduating as a dancer and understudy of the lead roles in a Christmas pantomime performance of Cinderella in Blackburn.
His professional credits include performing at the prestigious Blackpool Tower Ballroom and The Grand Theatre for various corporate events and shows. Kieran’s journey continued onto his first cruise ship P&O Aurora, where he also had the privilege of being a part of a Strictly Come Dancing show. His most recent jobs include dancing on board Cunard’s Queen Mary 2and Queen Elizabeth. Kieran is really looking forward to performing at The Alpine Ball, Aintree.
Simon is from Blackburn and was a late starter into the performing world. He didn’t take his first dance class until he was a 19. Since then he has worked hard but also feels extremely lucky. He gained a full scholarship at the Urdang Acdemy of Musical Theatre in Londons Covert Garden. He graduated early in his third year after being offered the role as one of lead vocalists for Spirit Productions 12 Irish Tenors.
He went on to do a residency out in the states for 12 months with the Tenors and also completed two world tours. Simon then became a lead vocalist for Spirit Productions in many of their other shows including Dancing Queen, Jersey Nights and Killer Queen, having the chance to perform all over the world. He then went to work out in Australia for two years as a lead Vocalist for P&O cruises before transferring to the English fleet for P&O were he has now done six contracts as the lead vocalist for the Headliners Theatre Company.
Simon is delighted at being part of this amazing cast and show for his first season with the incredible Plan B productions.
Katy started dancing at the age of three and then knew she definitely wanted to be on the stage from a young age after appearing in the hit West End musical Annie, followed by its National UK Tour. She went on to train at Stella Mann Performing Arts College where she earned her Musical Theatre Diploma. After which she joined a Girl Band named Unleashed.
The girls did extensive touring of the UK and Europe performing for the public and the Armed Forces, even going as far as the Maldives with their vocal show. For six years Katy performed on the high seas as singer/dancer on four of Holland America Line ships, where she was lucky enough to have travelled the World as well as performing.
She has worked closely with the production company TAG over the last couple of years and has been seeing playing the roles of Cinders, Princess Jasmine and Scarecrow in their summer touring pantomimes at Haven Holiday Parks.
Lisa is an exceptional vocalist with over 15 years of professional experience. Her rare versatility and size-able range, makes her one of the UKs most sought after vocalists.
Lisa has gained a wealth of experience throughout her career being lucky enough to perform all over the world for some high profile companies including Holland America Line cruises, Tokyo Disney Resort, Warner Leisure Hotels, Butlin’s, G Casinos, Haven Holidays, First Choice, Thomson Gold and Sensatori to name a few. She has graced some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, The London Palladium, Her Majesty’s Theatre and even Wembley Stadium.
Recording Artist Allan Jay is a dynamic Scottish vocalist making a big name for himself on the UK and European dance / Pop music scene. Allan became winner of Best Male Artist 2015 in Reloaded Music Awards and being a Finalist for Entertainer of the Year at the Icon Awards.
Previously Allan’s most successful Single I go to pieces reached as high as number 3 on the Italy NRG top 40 Chart and reached number 4 in the Eurodance hits Chart. Allan was the voice over singing voice for Walter and then Fernando in there spin off High School Music films, this time based in Mexico and Argentina. Allan has also danced on various TV channels and Events with shows such as An Evening of Bollywood.
Maria has been working in the entertainment industry for the last 15 years. She studied at Central School of Speech and Drama in London and has been lucky enough to dabble in film, theatre, radio and TV; however the majority of her career has been spent on the high seas as principal vocalist on board luxury cruise ships.
Having travelled the world as a singer dancer, Nicola is also an accomplished Irish Dancer (Previous British, All Scotland Champion, All Ireland and International medallist); Nicola is thrilled to be back in the UK for this Christmas Season and making her first appearance at Tatton Park
Beth completed her dance training in Ballet and Musical Theatre at The Hammond School in Chester. Since graduating in 2011 she has been lucky enough to work in many jobs both in the UK and around the world. Including Santa Claus the Musical (Original Cast, Singapore) , Spirit of the Dance (Branson, Missouri), Puttin on the Ritz (Branson, Missouri) and The Hollywood Ball (Aintree Racecourse).
Beth has also danced with several cruise liners around the world, most recently on board Queen Elizabeth for Cunard Line. She is very excited to be appearing in New York New York this Winter at Tatton Park.
Joseph graduated from his professional dance training at Stella Mann in 2010. At the beginning of his career Joseph ventured to Italy for his first job where he toured with ‘The Beatles The Musical’ experiencing mid to large scale theatres up and down the country.
His previous credits include Spirit of the Dance, Putting on the Ritz and New Jersey Nights (US Tour) and various shows for different cruise ships. His most recent job was performing on board the Queen Elizabeth for Cunard where he performed a vast amount of styles in a variety of different shows. Joseph is very excited to be performing at Tatton Park this Christmas in New York New York.
Nick trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts He has spent most of his professional career travelling the world, performing in theatres, with bands and on cruise ships. He has also performed in prestigious venues in the UK such as Her Majesty’s Theatre, London and the Royal Albert Hall. He is very excited to be back at Tatton Park for 2016.
Danielle is a North West based dancer who began her training at R.D.D.C before continuing her professional training at Phil Winston’s in Blackpool. Professionally she has been lucky enough to work all around the world, her favourite place being Japan.
She has worked for Seacruise Ltd and Costa cruise lines as well as touring around Europe as principle Irish dancer with ‘Night of the Dance’ and ‘Night of the Dance Reloaded’ performing in the massive Berlin arena was a career highlight! She is thrilled to be joining the cast here at Tatton Park as Dance Captain.
Josh started dancing at the age of 6 at the DM Academy. He got his first professional contract at the age of 8 as a sunbeam in pantomime at Bradford Alhambra Theatre. He successfully auditioned for Northern Ballet Theatre in Leeds soon after and toured with them in The Nutcracker.
At 16 Josh auditioned and received a place at The Works in Blackpool on a 3 year Musical Theatre Course. On completing the course he successfully auditioned for Headliners Theatre Company and have worked as a singer dancer traveling the world on P & O ships, Oriana, Aurora and more recently Azura. This is Joshua’s second contact with Plan B and he looks forward to entertaining you.
