Reach for the stars

The event which will involve a number of spectacular free family activities is being filmed tonight at Tatton park,  Cheshire.

These include planetarium shows, live stargazing, telescope surgeries and astrophotography workshops.

There’ll be the chance to get hands on with meteorites and see what they’re made from through telescopes and take part in a create a crater activity to see how meteorites, comets and craters are formed on the surfaces of the Earth, Moon and other bodies in our Solar System.

This event is not open to the public as you had to apply before the date of filming.

With over 2000 people taking part it looks as though this could be a spectacular event.
