Terms and Conditions

The following Conditions comprise the standard terms and conditions of business of The Concerto Group Limited t/a JD Parties, and all the work undertaken by the Company shall be on these terms to the exclusion of any others unless specifically varied in writing and signed for and on behalf of the Client and by a director for and on behalf of the Company. In accepting the Proposal and engaging the Company these Conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Client on its own behalf and for and on behalf of each and every Guest.

JD Parties’ is a trading division of The Concerto Group Ltd and as the organisers reserve the following rights :-

  1. A booking will be reserved in your name on receipt of a deposit, within 8 weeks of your party the full balance is due.
  2. Until 1st September bookings can be held for 14 days before a deposit is due.
  3. The final balance must be paid 8 weeks before the party date.
  4. Booking amends can only be made by the party organiser or one other individual named by the party organiser.
  5. Booking cancellations can only be accepted in writing from the party organiser either by email or post.
  6. All money is non-refundable and cannot be transferred against any other item on your booking.
  7. Please make one single payment for each amount due, multiple payments will not be accepted.
  8. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by AMEX
  9. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at 20%, they are subject to change should the VAT rate change.
  10. Menu choices must be provided at least 2 weeks before your party, if not provided we cannot guarantee you will receive your first choice on your party night.
  11. Special requests and dietary requirements must be communicated at least 2 weeks before your party after this time we cannot guarantee that these can be catered for.
  12. A full allergen report is available on every dish, please contact the sales office for this information.
  13. Although every effort is made to keep the menu as stated, it may be necessary from time to time to change an item, due to lack of produce of the highest quality, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  14. All pre-ordered items must be paid for prior to the event.
  15. Any pre-orders must be made at least 2 weeks before your event. Changes made after this time may not be accepted.
  16. Any queries regarding a pre-order must be queried before or at the event. We advise you to take proof of purchase to the event.
  17. We operate challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will have to prove that you are aged 18 or over.
  18. It is against our license to allow beverages to be removed from the venue.
  19. We are only licensed for consumption of alcohol purchased on the premises. Anyone bringing or consuming their own alcohol will be asked to leave along with the rest of their party.
  20. Tickets will be sent from the sales office prior to the event, if you have not received them 2 weeks prior please get in touch. Please ensure all guests receive a ticket as guests without a ticket will not be admitted.
  21. The Company reserves the right to allocate appropriate tables to your party. Wherever possible The Company will attempt to accommodate any special requests or requirements.
  22. Table numbers can be provided by the sales office the week of your event.

  24. Dates and timings advertised are subject to licensing approval and a minimum number of ticket sales.
  25. The Company regrets that it cannot be held responsible for inclement weather affecting your attendance of any function.
  26. The Company does not accept liability and shall not be liable for any cancellation, delay or non-completion of the Event in the following circumstances: As a result of strikes, riots, or lockouts affecting any Trades with which The Company is concerned. As a result of fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other cause beyond its control.
  27. The Company reserves the right to refuse admission and remove from the function any person who in the opinion of The Company is likely to hinder the enjoyment of our other guests.
  28. The Company accepts all bookings in good faith, but reserves the right to amend all or part of the advertised programme and regret they cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions or cancellations.
  29. The Company reserves the right to cancel an event and will inform you immediately by phone, email or post. We will give you the option to transfer to an alternative date/location at no additional cost, or alternatively refund any payments made to The Company in full.
    The Company cannot assume responsibility for any third party costs incurred associated with travel, accommodation, clothing or any other related goods or services
  30. All guests should be 18 years old and above.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and in the unlikely event of a dispute, the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
